Try and create an intermediate zone between the sea, and the "vegetation" area at the edges of the horizontal platform.
Make the connection smoother, maybe some kind of marshland area?
The idea of the algae can create a link between what is under water and over water, as algae will naturally tend to grow underwater.
Review the integration of the side building to the tower. Have more of a link between under and over water.
